Raven and eagle are known by many different names by many different peoples and is an important figure amongst written and verbal stories.

Sources of “The Raven” have been suggested, such as “Lady Geraldine’s Courtship” by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Barnaby Rudge by Charles Dickens, and two poems.
